This match is the fourth time Leeds and Catalans have met in the Play Offs. It will be the second time that the Dragons have been the home side after the Rhinos defeated the French outfit on their way to lifting the Super League trophy in 2012.

In their first two Play Off clashes against the Dragons in 2009 and 2012, Leeds recorded 27 points. Danny McGuire was the only player to score in both matches, Ryan Bailey setting the half back up for one of the tries of the season in 2012.

Catalans got their first Play Off win in 2014 thanks to a last minute try from Sam Williams. After Jamie Jones-Buchanan looked to have sealed a Leeds victory, an error by the Rhinos on their own try line allowed the half back to get his second of the game.

Catalans full back Sam Tomkins is only 14 points away from reaching 1000 Super League points. The former Wigan player has accumulated 213 points for the Dragons after signing from Wigan, where he scored 773 points in the League over two spells.

Ava Seumanufagai can reach 150 career appearances tonight. Starting at Wests Tigers in 2013, Ava featured 105 times before moving to Cronulla Sharks, where he ran out 13 times. He joined the Rhinos in 2019 and will be making his 32nd appearance for the club.

Catalans winger Tom Davies has been one of the competition's most in form finishers. The Wigan academy product has made a bright start to his Dragons career by scoring 12 League tries, which includes a hat trick against Leeds in September.

Australian international and State of Origin star James Maloney has been a revelation to Catalans in 2020. The half back finished as the third highest points scorer in the League with 118 points, most of which have come from the kicking tee (55 goals).

As the home team, Catalans have hosted three Play Off matches prior to the semi finals. First beating Warrington in 2008 and then Hull KR in 2011, the Dragons suffered their only home defeat in the elimination play offs against Leeds in 2012.

This will be the first time that Chris Kendall has refereed Leeds and Catalans in both Super League and the Play Offs. Kendall took charge of the Grand Final for the first time last year, officiating St Helens' 23-6 win over Salford.

Ryan Hall has scored the most tries out of any Leeds player against Catalans in Super League. The winger crossed the try line 24 times against the Dragons between 2007 and 2018, including two tries in Leeds 27-20 Play Off win at Headingley in 2009.
